MOHAMMED ALI GENERAL TRADING CO. L.L.C., operating under the brand MATCO Foods, is a trusted name in wholesale trading with a legacy of over 47 years in the UAE market. Known for delivering the best quality at the right price, we have built a strong reputation among wholesalers, retailers, and international buyers.
Our journey began in the 1960s when our founder, Mr. Mohammed Ali Peruli, from Thalakkadathur, Tirur, Malappuram, arrived in the UAE with a vision and determination. Starting from humble beginnings, he worked tirelessly across various jobs before entering the trading industry.
Through dedication and perseverance, he co-founded a successful fruit trading business and later, in 1978, established MOHAMMED ALI GENERAL TRADING CO. L.L.C., making it one of the early foodstuff and non-food wholesale trading companies in the UAE.
Today, the company has grown into a well-established trading enterprise with 100+ employees and 1000+ loyal customers, continuing to expand its presence across the Middle East and Asian markets.

- Arden Macaroni – A trusted pasta product distributed across the UAE market.
- HAS-B Detergent – Founded in Kerala in 2016 and now manufactured in the UAE, offering high-quality multi-purpose cleaning and laundry solutions.
- EXPRX.com – Launched in 2025 as an online platform for wholesale and retail, delivering competitively priced food products including pulses, spices, dry fruits, and more.
